Attack Attack
Attack Attack! is an American metalcore band from Westerville, Ohio, formed in 2005. Attack Attack!'s first release, an independent EP titled If Guns Are Outlawed, Can We Use Swords?, was released in 2008, which lead to the signing of the band to Rise Records the same year. They then released their two full-length albums, Someday Came Suddenly and a self-titled album both through Rise.
Although some of the group's songs contain Christian-based lyrics, not all members of Attack Attack! are Christian, and do not consider themselves a Christian band.
Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!
Chunk! No, Captain Chunk!
CHUNK! NO, CAPTAIN CHUNK! ARE THE LIFE OF THE PARTY. Named after the '80s classic adventure movie 'The Goonies' and with a sense of fun that sees them make their own rules musically, this French beatdown pop punk quintet are sure to bring a giant smile to your face with their rousing, anthemic and infectious debut 'Something For Nothing'.
Forming in 2007 in Paris, Bertrand Poncet (vocals), Paul Wilson (guitar/backing vocals), Éric Poncet (Guitar), Mathias Rigal (Bass) and Jonathan Donnaës (Drums) came together as Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! due to a desire to combine the energy of punk, the catchiness of pop and the crushing assault of hardcore into a powerful party sound to win friends and fans all over the world. With the track 'In Friends We Trust' and its accompanying wild house party/show video, it's obvious that these guys are about having a good time, all the time.
With the band having remixed and remastered their debut album 'Something For Nothing' for a brand new re-release through Fearless Records, which also includes the addition of new track 'Make Believe', these young, upbeat punks have never sounded so exhilarated and energetic. Tracks such as fan favourite 'Captain Blood' and the mighty, aptly titled 'Positiv-O' prove exactly why they already have a dedicated diehard fanbase that's getting bigger and bigger every show.
Spreading their good times vibe and truly staying out for the summer, they're currently out on their first ever USA tour, the 2011 Summer pArtery Tour, with In Fear And Faith, Vanna, A Loss For Words, Close To Home, Ten After Two and Adestria. After their American assault the five-piece turn their attention to the UK and mainland Europe in October and November to hit the road with Miss May I, Chelsea Grin and Abandon All Ships. With these line-ups as diverse as the band's sound, Chunk! No, Captain Chunk! are sure to win over pop punk fans and hardcore kids alike.
With a ripping re-released album, a new record label to call home and touring to meet friends and party all over the globe in the coming months, it's clear that they've got an insatiable taste for this life and music and nothing can stand in their way.
Dream On, Dreamer
Dream On, Dreamer
Sometimes things just seem like they were meant to be. Whether it's chance, talent, timing or a combination of all of the above, the stars align and opportunities others fight long and hard for just fall from the sky.

Prime example is Melbourne's Post-Hardcore six-piece Dream On Dreamer.

Less than 18 months ago, German exchange student Marcel Gadacz was still learning his way around the finer points of Australia's brand of English when he came across the five like-minded individuals that would form a band rising through the ranks of the Australian and Internationals scenes faster than anyone can keep track of. Amongst them was recently migrated American drummer Aaron Fiocca, and guitarist / producer Callan Orr, whose older brother Kevin has been involved with bands like The Getaway Plan and Behind Crimson Eyes. The other three members - keyboardist Daniel Jungwirth, bassist / vocalist Michael McLeod and guitarist Luke Domic, had all just finished stints in local bands and were ready for a fresh start. And thus, the wheels were in motion.

By June 2010, the band had signed with Australia's premier Alternative Management and Label company UNFD (where they join The Amity Affliction, The Getaway Plan, I Killed the Prom Queen and Deez Nuts, amongst others), and were on their way to joining the national Take Action Australia Tour with US acts Attack Attack and Pierce The Veil.

From there everything just snowballed.

The bands debut "Hope" EP became a worldwide hit, securing the band US co-management with red hot Sacramento-based company The Artery Foundation, and deals throughout the world with Rise Records (US/Europe) and Triple Vision (Japan). They toured with The Amity Affliction, Emmure (US) and Deez Nuts, smashed out one of the most memorable Push Over Festival sets in recent times, and then flew straight to Florida to record their debut full length, Heartbound.

Dream On Dreamer garnered over 26,000 "Likes" on Facebook, and are now getting ready for an arena tour with Avenged Sevenfold, before heading out on dates across the Europe, North America, Japan (and of course Australia) in support of Heartbound. They've been featured in major press across the world and scored 10,000 downloads of their new single "Downfall" in the weeks immediately after its June 2011 release. The band have released three film clips on shoe-string budgets that have accumulated over 500,000 YouTube plays and are already one of the hottest punk rock tickets in Australia.
So here we are, 18 months on, and on the eve of the worldwide release of the bands debut album. So far, everything has gone as well as can be imagined. And yet we are really only at the beginning. Heartbound is an exceptional debut from a band who has caught the attention of every ear they've graced. It's set to make them the next international success story to come out of Australia, just as Parkway Drive and The Amity Affliction have done in recent years. So how has this all happened so quickly? The answer is simple: listen to HEARTBOUND.

Dream On Dreamer are just really fucking good.
